CIES (Food Business Forum) 1986 annual conference neck tie

Navy blue polyester neck tie with a repeated design consisting of a diagonal woven inscription, 'CIES'. There is also a repeated design of red and white diagonal lines and occasional machine embroidered blue 'CIES' globe logos. The tie has a lining of navy blue polyester bearing the makers name, 'Interlogo London' and is still in its original packaging; a colourless plastic sleeve featuring the makers name. The tie was produced for the 1986 CIES annual conference in Vienna and sent to Lord J. Sainsbury. The CIES is a food business forum for global food retailers and suppliers.
