CIES (Food Business Forum) 1987 annual conference neck tie

Blue polyester neck tie with a repeated design consisting of bands of diagonal white lines. There is also a machine embroidered white 'CIES' globe logo and inscription, 'CANNES'. The tie has a lining of grey polyester bearing the makers name, 'Interlogo London' and is still in its original packaging; a colourless plastic sleeve. The tie was produced for the 1987 CIES annual conference in Cannes and sent to Lord J. Sainsbury. The CIES is a food business forum for global food retailers and suppliers.
