Sainsbury Archive Logo
Two triangular, teapot brown, colour glazed tiles. A raised inscription on the reverse gives the maker's name, 'Minton, Hollins, & Co'. The tiles may have been used on the front of counters at 6 London Road (renumbered 9/11), Croydon when the house style used to decorate many of Sainsbury's new branches from the 1890s until after the World War Two was beginning to emerge.
