Folded cardboard matchbook with a glossy orange outer surface containing 20 black matchsticks with white heads. There is a Sainsbury's centenary logo on the front featuring four stylised candles and the inscription, '1869 1969'. The matchbook is also inscribed in white on the reverse, 'SAINSBURY'S 100 Good food years', and on the base, '20 CRON MATCHES / MADE IN FINLAND'.
The matchbooks were produced to commemorate the centenary of Sainsbury's in 1969.
