I haven't been at Sainsbury's that long but I was been lucky enough to work on the 150th celebrations in 2019. One of the ways we celebrated the birthday was giving out a packet of free tea and biscuits to customers on the day of our Birthday on 25th May. On the Saturday I popped into my local store in Chiswick to see how the free giveaway was going. Not only were customers delighted with their free tea and biscuits but the store had invited the local Mayor and local children's theatre groups to perform at front of store. The atmosphere in the store was wonderful and it really brought the community together!
