Copper alloy bell weight with a handle. An inscription on the top of the handle states the weight, '7 lb' while 'J. Sainsbury' is inscribed on the bottom of the weight. The bottom of the weight also appears to bear the stamp of an Inspector of Weights and Measures to show that it had been officially verified.
