Machine pressed relief tile featuring a Art Nouveau style iris design. The tile has a cream glazed ground and the design is painted with coloured glazes; blue for the leaves and pink/purple for the iris flower. There is also a colourless crackle overglaze. The raised inscription on the reverse of the tiles reads, 'MINTONS CHINA WORKS STOKE ON TRENT ENGLAND Reg No 298541 No E351 Col.'
