Square tiles with a teapot brown coloured glaze. Seven of the tiles have a raised inscription on the reverse side, 'Minton Hollins & Co Patent [T]il[e] [Wo]rk[s] Stoke on Trent No 2 RCW'. These tiles were part of the house style used in Sainsbury's branches from the 1890s to the late 1940s.
