Butter slice

Wooden implement with a short handle and a large slicing head. The slice is smooth on both sides and has a cutting edge. There is an inscription on the handle, 'J. SAINSBURY BLACKFRIARS'. The slice would have been used in conjunction with a butter beater to cut sections off a large block of butter in a Sainsbury's counter service branch.
