Photograph showing an opening ceremony for the Walters Yard, Bromley store after completion of the reinvigoration programme at the store. This was part of a major programme of reinvigoration of Sainsbury's stores (see JS Journal July/August 2001 page 3). The opening ceremony featured the presentation of a £500 cheque to Wolsey Junior School. Pupils from the school hold up the opening ribbon, as it is cut by a woman (perhaps the headteacher?). There are several different versions of this photograph. The cheque is dated 5 July 2001.
