"Sainsbury's Community Service Award Winner" press releases, Jan-Mar 1991

Press releases relating to members of Sainsbury's staff winning awards as part of the Sainsbury's Community Service Award Scheme. In 1991 (the second year of the scheme), Sainsbury's donated £500 to community groups nominated by the 17 winners and £250 to groups nominated by the 13 runners-up in the scheme. The staff taking part in the scheme had volunteered with the community groups which they nominated. A variety of local groups won awards detailed in these press releases such as a community hall, a group assisting children with reading difficulties, a mobile lifeguard group, and a Scout group.
