Video about Sainsbury’s Pictures for Schools scheme in 1995. This was a scheme which offered free prints of various paintings to schools. The video contains both a video programme about the paintings and a BBC television programme about how pictures can be used in schools.

1. “Sainsbury’s Pictures for Schools” video. The video begins with an introduction by Lord Sainsbury of Preston Candover (John Davan Sainsbury). This is followed by artist Peter Blake (who selected the paintings) discussing each of the paintings.
2. (07:55) BBC “Teaching Today Art Classics 2” television programme, 1995. The programme for teachers is about how pictures can be used in school, using the Sainsbury’s Pictures for Schools prints.
