"Sainsbury's Pedicab: Put your feet up as we pedal you home" document, 1998

Document giving information on the Pedicab scheme at Sainsbury's Islington store. 'Pedicabs' are pedal-operated rickshaws, which provided a pollution-free means of transporting up to two customers and their shopping home. They were introduced as a trial at Sainsbury's Islington supermarket in 1998 and were operated by an independent company.

The document includes copy of press release, copies of press cuttings, images of the Pedicabs. Some loose papers inserted include a customer leaflet for the scheme and a design image of the Pedicab.
