"The Sainsbury's Guide to Listed Buildings" architect recruitment leaflet, [1980s]

Leaflet aimed at recruiting qualified architects and senior assistants to the company. The leaflet features images showing the architectural features of a few of Sainsbury's new stores and explains that "the idea of a Sainsbury's supermarket of today becoming part of the cherished architectural heritage of tomorrow isn't as preposterous as it sounds" and that "a number of Sainsbury's stores would make pretty strong contenders" for becoming listed buildings in the future.

The leaflet has a footer on the back page "Building Design (Supplement) Feb 29" - suggesting this leaflet was included inside a professional journal. The Sainsbury's logo is followed by a slogan "The Architecture of Success."
