Cash book, Jun 1966-Feb 1967

Cash book containing transactions such as salaries and other payments to staff, payments relating to Basingstoke depot, petty cash, payments to the pension fund, payments to the Sainsbury Staff Association. Covers 1966/67 periods 3 to 11.

The cash book is arranged with debit transactions on the left hand side of each folio (double page) and credits on the right. Each transaction is classified under an account code and placed in the appropriate column of the table eg "Sales" or "Bought Ledger". Transactions under other account codes which do not have a specific column in the table are placed in the "Sundries" column with the account code written in the "Sundries Code" column.
