Photographs showing the shipping of butter from Friesland in the Netherlands to Chambers Wharf in London. It was later delivered to Sainsbury's depot at Union Street, London (see SA/IMA/4/SA/43-44). The photographs feature the ship Rijnstroom being loaded at Amsterdam docks.
Some of the photographs feature in JS Journal April-May 1962 ("Fresh from Friesland, Part 2. Bringing Dutch Butter from the Dairy to Blackfriars" page 22-27).
