Photographs of the Sainsbury's supermarket at 89/91 Queensway, Stevenage on opening day. The branch was very briefly the largest Sainsbury's store trading with a sales area of 13,800 square feet until a week later when a slightly larger branch in Colchester opened. Some of the photographs are included in JS Journal December 1969.

frames 18-19: the incinerator at the back of the store for disposal of rubbish (a new feature)
