The advert depicts comedian John Cleese at home with a table full of Christmas foods from Sainsbury’s and using recipes from 'Sainsbury’s The Magazine'. There is a knock on the door, he ignores it. He realises he is missing one thing – the family. He opens the door and the family are covered in snow. It finishes with caption “Have yourself a Sainsbury's family Christmas.”.
A video containing what appears to be an early version of the commercial is also included.
