The advertisement was to be shown on all terrestrial, satellite and cable channels from 16 November 1997 to 7 December 1997.
The commercial suggests turkey, red cabbage cooked with chestnuts, followed by triple chocolate truffle gateau with creme fraiche whisked with Calvados, mince pies with nutmeg or cinnamon and icing sugar, and star cookies decorated by children. More ideas and recipes were available in Sainsbury's The Magazine with the "New recipes for Christmas" pull-out booklet. Ends with "Sainsbury's Fresh Food, Fresh Ideas" slogan onscreen.
