Television news reports about Chichester store fire

Video containing a compilation of television news items relating to the fire at the Sainsbury's store near Chichester on 16 December 1993. The massive fire occurred while the store was open but everyone was successfully evacuated and no one was injured. The store building was destroyed however, and was later rebuilt on the same site.

The incident was a significant news item and questions were raised on the news programmes about the non-installation of sprinklers and design of supermarkets.
