Correspondence file relating to Sainsbury's stand and hot air balloons at the Royal Show.

The Royal Show was a large annual agricultural show held at Stoneleigh Park, Warwickshire which was aimed at members of the public on a day out as well as farmers and others from the agriculture and food trade. Sainsbury's had a stand at the 1998 show featuring organic products and cookery demonstrations by the company's home economists. The Sainsbury's carrots hot air balloon was also to be on display at the show.

The file includes internal reports and memoranda about Sainsbury's stand, correspondence with the media, and designs of exhibition stands. A copy of a letter about proposed sponsorship of the Ayr Flower Show is also included.
