In the 1970's I used to shop with my mum, in the Oxhey branch of Sainsbury's. At the check out, there was no conveyor belt, but a frame with a handle the cashier had to pull to drag the shopping. I was around 5 years old, and my finger got caught in it... I'm not sure who was more upset me, the cashier or my mum... I was given a pack of iced gems to help with the pain.... Now whenever I see those little biscuits, with the icing on top, it reminds me of this incident.....
