The footage was filmed at Sainsbury's 2005 Management Conference on the theme of "Getting Better Every Day", held on Monday 19th September 2005 at Cheltenham Racecourse. The products shown were some of those involved in the "bid up", a competition in which each Sainsbury's director supported a "hero line" and encouraged branches to boost sales.
