8. Presentation by David Sainsbury “Looking Ahead – Targets for Improvement” about forecasts of the company’s future financial performance in the Group Corporate Plan; investment plans for new stores; targets for cost savings; contribution of subsidiaries to group profit.
9. Interview of David Sainsbury by presenter about the company’s financial performance and the company’s strategy for the future. Includes discussion about: the financial targets; new stores; the company’s position in the market compared with competitors; cost savings; improving quality.
10. Presentation of reports back from the ‘syndicate sessions’ with five area directors, discussing the feedback which had been received from attendees at these sessions eg concerns and suggestions from store managers.
