"Surprised" television commercial

Television commercial (20 seconds) about the Sainsbury’s Schoolbags scheme which offered vouchers to Sainsbury's customers who reused their carrier bags. The vouchers could be given to schools and they would be able to exchange them for free equipment paid for by Sainsbury's. With strapline "Sainsbury's. Giving free equipment to schools."

The advertisement shows two children in a studio. They pull out of a carrier bag (like it was a magician’s hat) a huge amount of school equipment. Background music is entitled "Thirty Something" - the theme to several 1990s Sainsbury's adverts.
