Sainsbury's Pictures for Schools, 1996
The 1996 scheme gave 1100 secondary schools a set of four framed reproductions of paintings, a teachers pack and a video copy of the BBC Education programme about the paintings. Sainsbury's store managers chose schools in their local area to participate in the scheme.
