Rectangular textured white paper tablecloth with a printed scalloped border. The border is made up of two blue outer bands, a band of grey stylised leaves and a wide red inner band incorporating a repeated design in white including stylised leaves, a crown, a banner and an inscription, '1977 THE QUEEN'S SILVER JUBILEE'. The tablecloth is still in the original colourless plastic film packaging with printed inscriptions giving the maker's name and address and details about the product.
This brand of paper tablecloth was sold in Sainsbury's branches in the year of the Silver Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II, 1977.
