Includes a manager in office and employee Fred Corby scraping cheese at Basingstoke depot. The blocks of cheese were scraped to remove any surface contamination. These cheese scrapings were then sold to a cheese processor.
One of the photographs of cheese scraping was used in an article "Waste not, want not" about the recycling of by-products at Sainsbury's depots in JS Journal March 1975.
