With footage of the product and voiceover “Take a closer look at Sainsbury’s Topside, mature, lean and this week down in price to just £1.86 a pound. Now you can’t beef about that”. The old price was £2.68. The voiceover sounds like it is by actor Peter Egan.
This is possibly the advertisement which was due to be shown from 24 to 27 September (see Special Bulletin 338/89 for details of planned dates and broadcasters) which was part of the 'Take A Closer Look' 1989 autumn promotion. Other publicity material for the promotion included in-store posters.
