Television commercial (40 seconds) promoting Sainsbury's Gnocchi, Sainsbury's other Italian foods and Sainsbury's The Magazine. It was one of three advertisements ('Gnocchi', 'Raining' and 'Marmalade') produced together in June 1996. The advert was filmed at Grip House Studios, Greenford on 5th June 1996.

The commercial features a man (played by John Simm) and woman in their kitchen. He proudly announces that he is Italian and insists on authentic Italian food, while she says he is actually from Peckham and the Italian food is all from Sainsbury's. The commercial finishes with the “Sainsbury’s. Special food at everyday prices.” slogan.

The background music is a theme used in several Sainsbury’s 1990s commercials entitled “Thirty Something”.
