"Save at Sainsbury's" (Pork & Bergerac Rouge, Frozen Curries) television commercials

Television commercials (probably not broadcast) beginning with a “Save at Sainsbury’s” caption which promote special offers on products at Sainsbury’s. There are commercials for pork with wine, and for frozen curries with different versions of each commercial. Each commercial is 20 seconds long. The different versions only appear to vary slightly with different coloured text and background to the text.

It seems likely that this video was in fact an experimental or demonstration video used internally to show how these price promotion television commercials could be changed. They seem to be copied from the advertisements AMV/SAPW143/020 and AMV/SAFC144/020 dated January 1993 but with the captions altered (a 'Save at Sainsbury's' caption at the start and intertitles detailing prices between shots). The different colours presumably show different options which could be chosen. The changed format of the commercials seems to have been introduced shortly after this video was made, with commercials featuring the 'Save at Sainsbury's' caption at the start appearing from March 1993 onwards.
