One part of the programme shows and explains how bread is made at Sainsbury’s Cromwell Road, London in-store bakery. Footage also shows the bakery counter and exterior of the store.

Other parts of the programme do not relate to Sainsbury’s including a watermill (Mapledurham) and a traditional local bakery. In a dramatic/comedic segment, Willie Rushton plays the Earl of Sandwich inventing the sandwich.
