111 colour slides for a presentation entitled "Value for Money".

The slides appear to have been for a presentation in 1981 by Sainsbury's home economists in conjunction with the South Eastern Gas Board (SEGAS). The slide presentation appears to have been put together by S.B. Modules Ltd, 159 Great Portland Street, London for Sainsbury's.

The slides include pictures of inside and outside stores, own label products, Sainsbury's laboratories, customers and staff.

The slides were originally in two Kodak Carousel slide trays (one labelled Mag A, one Mag B). They are arranged in the order they were found in the slide tray. Magazine A contains slides mostly numbered 1 to 109 (mostly odd numbers). Magazine B contains slides mostly numbered 2 to 108 (even numbers only).
