Recording of part of a special edition of "Retail Review", a news magazine programme for Sainsbury’s store management teams with reports, interviews with Sainsbury's staff, and video footage from stores. The start of this programme is missing on this tape. The programme focuses on two matters: a promotion to address price perception issues with Sainsbury’s, and an initiative to reduce queues at checkouts.

Contents:
1. Interview with a Sainsbury’s senior manager about a marketing campaign to promote lower prices including ‘Low Price Essential’ offers, special offers, end of aisle plinths to promote offers, and television commercial. Includes footage of point of sale advertising material (posters, barker cards/shelf edge labels etc), product displays.
