'The Store' Croydon Bar opened in South End Croydon has kept the original tiles from the 1930 Sainsbury. Amazing mosaic flooring, beautiful raised Victorian style edged tiles along the ceiling complete with the rectangular. Tiled panels along the walls.
The staff seem to have absorbed the polite, welcoming, professionally synchronised manner of the 'old school service'.
