Correspondence file relating to Sainsbury's search for leasehold office accommodation in the south Manchester area.

Includes correspondence giving details of Sainsbury's requirements and referring to several properties in Stockport, Altrincham and Cheadle that were identified as potential sites.

Also includes general booklets and brochures and individual property specifications provided by various estate agents and summary reports on sites under consideration produced by the estates department including a set of photographs of office buildings.

The project was shelved in February 1981.
