"Programme made for everyone involved in the General Merchandise department either as part of the Management Team or as a colleague working instore. It explains why the department has been created, what customers want and what needs to be done to succeed with GM at Sainsbury's."

Shows the new division of general merchandise into three areas: "for me" (greetings cards, stationery, entertainment, books, clothing), "for home" (cookshop, bathroom, bedroom, home accessories, soft furnishings) and "for kids" (Adams clothing, toys, children's books, party tableware). Footage used mostly shows products on display, briefly shows staff member using planogram to check display.
