Customer account book issued by the J. Sainsbury Ltd. branch at 189 High Street, Kensington with a gold inscription on the front cover, 'J. SAINSBURY Head Depot BLACKFRIARS BRANCHES THROUGHOUT LONDON & SUBURBS'. The front cover also features and an oval cut out revealing the handwritten name and address of the customer, 'Mrs Luckey 20 Charleville Mansions.' The book states the terms of J. Sainsbury customer accounts and also contains details of Mrs Luckey's weekly purchases and their cost, each page has been stamped when payment has been received.
