Television commercial (40 seconds) promoting Sainsbury’s Reward Card. It was one of three advertisements ('Gnocchi', 'Raining' and 'Marmalade') produced together in June 1996. The advert was filmed in a residential driveway in Kidbrooke, London on 6th June 1996 and the three adverts were due to air on television from 17th June 1996. It has a clock number (reference number used by television companies) of AMV/SARA367/030.

The commercial shows a woman and man in the rain having arrived back from shopping at Sainsbury’s. They have collected points on their Reward Card. He wants to get Air Miles for a trip abroad, but thinks they’ve spent all the points on bottles of wine. However she actually wants to use the points on a trip to the south of France to escape from the rain, which pleases him when he finds out.

The background music is a theme used in several Sainsbury’s 1990s commercials entitled “Thirty Something”.
