Includes lists of centenary activities, two duplicates complied on 2 January 1969 and one on 6 February. The lists outline the type of activities taking place, the date they were due to commence, the cost and the stage of preparation.

Also includes a menu for a dinner held on 19 May for senior staff at Grosvenor House, and a collar for a bottle. The collar features Sainsbury's centenary logo, four stylised candles and '1869 1969' printed below them in orange, and a greeting in English, French and German, 'With Compliments, and Best Wishes for a successful Congress, from SAINSBURY'S who are celebrating their Centenary this year.'

There is a copy of a press release containing a speech proposing a toast at the centenary banquet by Sir Robert Sainsbury, the Chairman on 14 April.
