The advertisements are all on the theme of customers being able to afford a little 'extra' when they shop at Sainsbury's, with actors performing a brief sketch and hand-drawn backdrops to give a cartoon-like appearance. The advert ends with the slogan "Good Food Costs Less at Sainsbury's".
The advertisement appears to be one from the Autumn 1990 promotion which was broadcast from 16 to 19 September 1990 (see Special Bulletin 279/90).
