Television commercial (30 seconds) promoting Sainsbury's German Lager.

The advert features footage showing the beer and a man drinking it. There are two different versions of the advert - one with voiceover by Nigel Havers and one by Tom Baker. The voiceover explains the qualities of the products and says they could have given the lager a foreign sounding name but they decided against it.

The advert ends with the slogan "Good lager costs less when it's Sainsbury's" and end caption "Sainsbury's".
