The advert features an out-of-vision narrator promoting the product with footage showing the product, the packaging, and bacon being cooked. There are two versions of the advertisement - one with the voiceover by Nigel Havers and one with voiceover by Tom Baker.
The advert ends with: footage of bacon (on a plate with egg. mushrooms and tomato) being cut with knife and fork; the slogan "Good food costs less when it's Sainsbury's" voiced by the narrator; and "Sainsbury's" caption with "British Charter Quality Bacon" logo (on Nigel Havers version only).
