Wine label art competition press pack, 1997

Press pack containing information about a competition organized by Sainsbury's and Bankside Gallery to design two wine labels for Sainsbury's. An exhibition of the designs submitted for the competition was held at the Bankside Gallery in London on 21 to 28 February. The competition was open to artists from the Royal Watercolour Society (RWS) and Royal Society of Painter-Printmakers (RE) and aimed to raise funds and promote the two societies. The works submitted for the competition were sold at a silent auction.
