Photographs of the 2/10 Queensway, Bognor Regis self-service branch soon after it had opened on 26 March 1968 (replacing the old branch at 31 London Road). Includes pictures of staff, the checkout, the exterior, and Lord Sainsbury of Drury Lane (Alan Sainsbury) chatting to customers and staff. The branch had the first bank of power-operated checkouts in the firm - it was an experimental installation.
