Unedited footage possibly filmed for "SMART" network programme(s) broadcast c. September-October 1997

Three videos containing unedited footage possibly filmed for use in one or more business television programmes for Sainsbury's staff (mainly store management teams) broadcast on the "SMART" network (Sainsbury's Management and Retail Television) sometime in September or early October 1997. The Archive does not appear to have digitized recordings of any programmes broadcast during this time to confirm exactly how the footage was used.

Contents:
- Unedited footage and interviews from the first Sainsbury’s suppliers conference. Only short parts of each presentation are included. Includes footage of Angela Megson (Prepared Foods Director), John Rowe (job title unclear), Kevin McCarten (Marketing Director), Mark Williamson (Senior Manager, JS Bakeries) and various suppliers.
- Unedited interviews and footage apparently filmed at Sainsbury’s East Dulwich store. The interviews relate to the programme in which staff from head office could volunteer to help out in stores during the busy Christmas trading period.
