Recording of a special Sainsbury's Business Television programme for Sainsbury's "delicatessen colleagues and managers". It was broadcast on 24 July 2000 by satellite to Sainsbury's stores, depots and offices. It was presented by John Howard from Tooting branch.

The programme was intended to help delicatessen staff make a success of the "Try Before You Buy" promotion.

15:40: Introduction by presenter John Howard from 71-77 Tooting High Street, Tooting branch, where the commercial was filmed.
16:17: Clips of interview with Jamie Oliver explaining why he chose to work with Sainsbury's.
18:02: Interview with marketing director Sara Weller about the reasons for focusing on the delicatessen and "Try Before You Buy", working with Jamie Oliver and supporting branches. Also includes footage of staff and customers at the Tooting branch delicatessen.
20:20 and 24:50: Clips of interviews with customers trying products at the delicatessen.
21:57: District department trainer Ian Bristow explains "tricks of the trade" to help delicatessen staff give good customer service.
23:39: Clips of interviews with Tooting branch staff praising the "Try Before You Buy" promotion.
25:39: John Howard recaps the program and the "Try Before You Buy" television commercial plays. In it Jamie Oliver is with a friend decorating a house. They are hungry so he goes shopping at Sainsbury’s where he takes full advantage of "Try Before You Buy" at the delicatessen counter. He goes back home but is no longer hungry after all the sampling he did. Includes the “making life taste better” slogan.

Duration: 11 minutes 50 seconds (excluding 15 minute countdown at beginning and 1 minute of credits onscreen at end). Ends with text onscreen reading "with thanks to Ian Bristow, District Department Trainer and everyone at Tooting".
