Recording of a Sainsbury's Business Television programme for Sainsbury's staff (mainly store management teams). It was broadcast live on 5 December 2000 by satellite to Sainsbury's stores, depots and offices. It was presented by John Howard in the studio.

The programme focusses on boosting sales in the three weeks before Christmas.

05:55 and 10:55: Presenter John Howard previews the programme ten minutes and five minutes before it started.
16:00: Introduction by presenter John Howard.
17:02 and 28:20: Studio interview with Ian Merton, director, commercial fresh foods, Robin Whitbread, retail director, Jon Hartland, retail operations director, and Allan Webb, senior manager, adult beverages. Discusses: half-yearly results and future sales in the weeks before Christmas; guidelines on what managers can do in stores including using available space without causing congestion; Christmas product displays including beers, wines and spirits; intranet site with examples of Christmas best practice; balancing the need for large displays and managing best before dates; promotions of beers, wines and spirits; new fresh and convenience foods; distribution issues; final thoughts. Includes questions from viewers calling into the programme.
24:06: Report from Old Shoreham, Benfield Valley (West Hove), Hove branch about their festive displays. Includes interview with Senior Manager, Retail Operations Brendan Glynn about Christmas displays, what stores need to do, support for stores, availability and Christmas intranet site; and interview with Store Manager, West Hove Steve Woodrow about Christmas preparations, learning from previous year and teamwork. Footage includes displays of Christmas food and non-food products and decorations inside the store with staff and customers.
43:00: John Howard concludes the programme, followed by more footage from West Hove.

Duration: 30 minutes (excluding 15 minutes countdown at start, preceded by 25 seconds of test card reading "124 STUDIO", and 40 seconds of blank screen at end). Ends with text onscreen reading "let's make this the best Christmas ever!", followed by another screen reading "With thanks to West Hove, Brighton and Greenwich. Produced by Group Internal Communications". Sound is poor (choppy) on this tape and cuts out in places.
