Square tile with a teapot brown coloured glaze. There is a raised inscription on the reverse, 'MINTON HOLLINS & Co PATENT TILE WORKS STOKE ON TRENT 2BD'. This tile was part of the house style used in Sainsbury's branches from the 1890s to the late 1940s.
