Better Environment Awards for Industry 1989 Award

Colourless glass sculpture in the shape of an iceberg. The back and one side of the sculpture are opaque; the front and other side are transparent. The transparent front of the award features an engraved inscription, 'Better Environment Awards for Industry 1989 J Sainsbury plc'.

The sculpture is stored in a cardboard presentation box with a hinged lid. The box is covered with a cream coloured satin fabric and lined with a blue satin fabric over polyester beads. The name and logo of the maker ('Royal Doulton Crystal') are printed in blue on the inside and outside of the box lid.
